OUR STORY
Cuckoo for Cookies Bakery is a young yet thriving business that began in December 2020 in Danbury, CT. Founded by Ana D., a college student who mastered the art of baking cookies during the COVID-19 pandemic, the idea was to give some sweetness back to the community after all the hardships we have faced in recent times.
Almost three years later, the community has responded wonderfully as parents take their children to the bakery for a treat after school, busy young adults run in to pick up a quick snack during their breaks, and the elderly stop by for a nice chat as they purchase cookies by the dozen. No matter who you are or where you come from, our mission at Cuckoo for Cookies is to welcome every customer to a sweet escape.

Ana D.
As the founder and CEO of Cuckoo for Cookies, Ana started this bakery as a humble one-woman show three years ago as an extension of her baking hobby. Today, she is proud to share her passion for cookies with her community and happy to have the help of two other talented women.
Martha J.
Martha is the mastermind behind the key ingredient of so many of our cookies: chocolate! As her lifelong friend and business partner, she joined Ana during the launch of this bakery as the chocolatier and is now head baker. Martha absolutely loves her job and is proud to see how much this small business has grown.
Rose T.
The newest addition to our cookie crew, Rose, plays a vital role at Cuckoo for Cookies as a dough maker and bakery clerk. She first met Ana and Martha as a regular customer at Cuckoo for Cookies Bakery. Now, she enjoys baking the cookies she fell in love with and interacting with our happy customers.
